To meet the national strategic needs of optoelectronic engineering field, International Platform for Optoelectronic Perception Science and Technology under Complex Environment was established based on two academic disciplines( “Optical Engineering” and “Physics” ),  three provincial or ministerial Laboratories (i.e., “ key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Image Understanding of Ministry of Education ”, “key Laboratory for New Laser Instrument and Optical Information Processing ” and “Key Laboratory of Wireless Physics” ) and National Joint Research Center for Intellisene and Computing”. Combined with China’s needs of medium and long-term scientific and technological development, our center remains committed to addressing major issues in future photoelectric information perception and processing. Giving the priority to “the science and technology of photoelectric information perception in complex Environment ”and by the amalgamation of “ science and engineering ”, we have launched many international cooperation research on basic theories, key technologies and their applications in targeted photoelectric characteristics in complex environment, photoelectric detection technology as well as photoelectric information and image processing. Through widely attracting well-known overseas scholars and high-level researchers, we will further deepen high-level international scientific research exchanges and cooperation. We will work to create a strategic, international academic research and high-level talent training center for optoelectronic perception and processing. That is how we can build our center into an exemplary cooperative and innovation one for talent training, scientific research and international academic exchanges of photoelectric information perception in complex environment in China. It will also enhance the scientific and technological innovation ability of related disciplines and improve international academic status, so as to better serve the strategic development needs of our country and society.
